Delay in Doomsday article

Due to some slight schedule changes, the doomsday article I had promised will be delayed. I have started it

Ill give you a sneak peek however because of the delay

Here;s the description:

"The Maya Doomsday-you've probably heard of it once or twice before. But what is its importance? Why has this gotten so much more attention than any other "doomsday" prophecies. This article will explain in detail where this idea originated, and what has driven its popularity."

Here's the first two paragraphs:

December 21, 2012; a date thought of by some to have no importance, but thought of by others to be the their final day here on earth. But where'd this idea originate of there being a "doomsday?"

As you all know, previous doomsdays, have obviously not happened. 2000 did not leave us at our demise, May 28, 2001 did not start a rapture, and no nuclear war came on May 29, 2002. So why has this doomsday gotten so much attention, and is this actually going to happen?

I then go on to talk about the background information of the Maya, and explain the reasons why people do and don't believe this doomsday will happen, as well as who came up with the idea of a doomsday.

I will hopefully finish the article with two days.
